SFCAP5440
The Trane SFCAP5440 is an oval run capacitor with 5 microfarads that will help improve the efficiency of your Trane HVAC system. This small part is only 4.72” long yet it has a capacitance of 5MFD and is protected by an aluminum housing. It can be used with 370V and 440V systems with 50 or 60 Hz frequency and works by delivering a constant level of electrical current only for starting and running of the motor. While a typical capacitor provides a short pulse of energy followed by discharge, a run capacitor provides a continuous flow which enhances the motor and overall system performance. The operating temperature range of capacitor is from -40°F to 158°F which guarantees the stable work in different conditions.
