SEN01114
Trane SEN01114 Flame Sensor is a combustion sensor part, which is used to identify the presence of flame in the burner of gas-fired HVAC systems. The flame rectification of a conductive sensing rod in the flame of the burner produces a small electrical current which is used by the control circuit to ensure that there is proper ignition and sustained combustion. The sensor is attached to the control board via an electrical lead that conveys the signal of the flame to be monitored by the system. It is mounted close to burner assembly within the combustion chamber to offer continuous flame detection.
