Honeywell SD365 Photoelectric Smoke Detector

The Honeywell SD365 is a photoelectric smoke detector that is intended to offer early warning of smoke and fire. It uses a scattered light detection technique in which a light beam is directed across the sensing chamber. Smoke particles when passing through the chamber reflect the light and this causes the alarm to ring. This technology is most useful in identifying fire that takes time to develop and which emit a lot of smoke, such as those caused by cooking or burning candles.
