The Scotsman Ice Machines 12-3088-01 Solenoid Water Valve controls water entering compatible ice-making equipment during the fill cycle. When its solenoid coil is energized the internal valve opens, and allows water to pass; removing the electrical signal closes the passage. The valve is rated for 0.75 GPM and require a 115V, 50/60Hz electrical supply. It connects to the incoming water line and the equipment wiring at the corresponding inlet and outlet points. During the fill sequence, compatible ice machines use this electrically operated valve to control water delivery for each ice production cycle in HVAC systems.
