The York S1-025-46792-000 is a high-performance Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) designed for proper HVAC system control. This thermostatic expansion valve is ideal for medium to large commercial and residential applications with a cooling capacity of 8 tons. It has an ODF connector size of 5/8" x 7/8" to accommodate the standard refrigerated piping systems. It is designed to work with R-410A refrigerant that is prevalent in most contemporary HVAC systems because of the efficiency coupled with an environmentally friendly nature. The TXV comes with an external equalization design that facilitates pressure control as well as the flow of the refrigerant.
