Resideo RRD8 Trol-A-Temperature 8" Retrofit Zone Damper

The Resideo RRD8 Trol-A-Temp is a motorized damper that is utilized to control the airflow in a duct system. It is specifically designed for retrofit applications and will slide into standard 8 inch round ductwork with relative ease. This damper is part of the zoning system that makes it possible to regulate temperature in different parts of a house or a building. The RRD8 is designed to use a power open/power close motor and it opens or closes in approximately 90 seconds. It is constructed with galvanized steel hence it is strong and is not liable to rust. Several dampers can be interfaced with a zone control system and yet only draw 1.5W of power. The leakage rate of 3.4 % at a 0.5” water column of the damper provides a strong seal for air distribution.
