The York S1-VLHP-DSF4 Reversing Valve Dunan is a four-way valve, which switches the direction of the refrigerant and switches between cooling and heating in air conditioning and heat pump equipment. It is fitted in the refrigerant circuit between the compressor, evaporator, and condenser to divert the high and low side flow depending on mode-selection. This component enables a thermal mode change without any jerky motion, switching the internal spool position with control signals. In HVAC systems operation, it uses mode reversal, which use to obtain balanced thermal performance with compatible 1-ton systems.
