Lennox 48G98 SPDT Blower 24V Relay

The Lennox 48G98 SPDT Blower 24V Relay is a part of your Lennox HVAC system. It is a switch but it plays a role in determining the functioning of your indoor blower motor. When power is supplied with 24 volts the relay in turn switches the power supply on and off as required to the blower motor, in order to circulate either cool or warm air throughout your house. Because this is a Double Throw Single Pole design the relay can switch the current through one of two paths, which in this case is to turn the blower motor ‘on’ or ‘off’. The 8A capacity makes it possible for the relay to handle current draw of most residential blower motors.
