The Mitsubishi Electric R63Y05154 4-Way Reversing Valve functions to make HVAC systems reversible in their flow of refrigerant. Its primary function as a 4-Way Reversing Valve is to reverse the flow of refrigerant for heat pump systems. Refrigerant is recalled by the condenser in the cooling mode to eject heat to the exterior region. They use heat exchangers to transfer heat from the interior to the exterior when it’s in heat, and vice versa, when it is in cool. This makes it possible for heat pumps to deliver air cooling which is a refrigeration activity and air heating which is a heating activity.
