Armstrong Furnace R100811-05 Manual Reset Limit Switch is a temperature safety control that is used to check the amount of heat in furnace assemblies. The electrical circuit is interrupted by a temperature-sensitive switch with a calibration of L205F, which shuts off power to other components of HVAC system when the temperature around the switch is above the set point. The manual reset mode makes the switch physically reset after reaching a high-temperature state before normal operation can be resumed. It is installed in the furnace heat exchanger or airflow compartment and offers thermal monitoring and circuit breakage during the heating process.
