Carrier KH43LG072 Puron Drier R410A

The Carrier KH43LG072 is a Puron Liquid Line Filter Drier, a component developed to be used only in Carrier HVAC systems that use R410A refrigerant, also known as Puron. This filter-dryer serves two purposes it filters out moisture and contaminants in the refrigerant circuit. It uses a desiccant material to absorb moisture to protect the Carrier HVAC system, but in presence of moisture in the system is dangerous as it causes corrosion, freezing, and reduced efficiency. It removes impurities that may be damaging to the system’s compressor and other parts of the system and it is available in a variety of materials that are either sweat or braze connected for a stronghold.
