Carrier P283-0360 Fan Relay is a Fan control relay used in a several Carrier HVAC systems. It works as a relay, where it gets signals from the thermostat or control board and turns the HVAC system’s fan on or off. This is essentialin regulating the flow of air in your home to effect equal distribution of heat and coolness. The relay itself is a small one, which is usually mounted inside the air handler unit. This is because it occupies a small form factor of 1.25” x 2.58” x 1.5” so it can be easily fitted into the existing HVAC system. The Fan Relay is a high current, SPDT relay with a coil of 24V.
