The Amana-Goodman P140118P is a replacement part for a specific component used in split-system central air conditioners and heat pumps. Its two principal parts are the evaporator coil and the drain pan.  Heat is taken up by the evaporator coil from the air that passes through it indoors. After that, the refrigerant absorbs the chilly air and transports it outside for release.
