Amana-Goodman P1400U36HP Evaporator Coil Assembly

The Amana-Goodman P1400U36HP is a replacement evaporator coil assembly specifically designed for Amana-Goodman air conditioners. It is made up of a series of aluminum fins entwined with copper tubing. Heat from the heated air flowing over the aluminum fins is absorbed by refrigerant as it flows through the copper tubes. A fan pulls this heated air into the air conditioner and moves it over the evaporator coil. As the refrigerant absorbs heat and evaporates, or changes from a liquid to a gas, the air flowing over the coil cools. The air conditioner's fan then distributes the frigid air throughout the structure.
