The IBC Technologies P-716 Ignitor Kit is used to start combustion in compatible gas-fired HVAC systems, burners, and ignition assemblies. It produces a spark between electrodes to ignite the gas mixture so that the heating cycle is initiated. The kit is installed on the burner head with secure mounting and correct positioning of the gas ports to replace damaged ignitors. It is used in the HC/DC series heater control systems to assist in maintaining constant ignition, quicker heat reaction and lower misfires and can be used in commercial and industrial gas furnace and unit heater HVAC equipment.
