Nu-Calgon 5010-30 Nustart Soft Starter 230VAC 3PH 4–28 RLA

The Nu-Calgon 5010-30 Nustart Soft Starter is a motor control unit that is used to start three-phase motors with a 428 RLA at 230 VAC, gradually increasing the start-up load to reduce electrical and mechanical loads during start-up. It is installed in the motor control panel and it is directly connected to the HVAC system compressors, fans and pumps to provide smooth acceleration and reduce inrush current. It reduces sharp torque bursts by regulating the voltage sent to the motor when starting, and this prolongs the life of the motor and minimizes the damage of belts, couplings and other equipment attached to the motor.
