The Nidec-Embraco NEK2140Z1 Compressor is used to pump the refrigerant circulation in the cooling cycle in HVAC systems. It works by using a motor-driven system that pushes R134A refrigerant from low pressure to high pressure, using 1/2 horsepower and 115 volts of single-phase power in refrigeration and packaged HVAC cooling units. It is located in the closed refrigerant loop in which suction and discharge lines enter the system piping.
