National Comfort Products 14208313 Heat Strip is an electric heating element package that produces supplemental heat by using resistance heating coils to convert electrical energy into heat. It has a capacity of 5 kW, which is enough to generate thermal energy to increase the temperature of air during colder operating conditions. The unit is connected to air handler and fan coil equipment & the air that flows through the unit picks up heat generated by the energized elements. It is used as a secondary or primary heat source that is used in HVAC systems along with blower components to distribute the warmed air to the conditioned space.
