Trane ORF1406 Natural Burner Orifice

The Trane ORF1406 is a natural gas burner orifice that is manufactured to fit Trane brand HVAC systems only. Think of it as a small valve regulating the flow of gas inside your furnace. It is 0.6” high, 6.0” long and 4.0” wide with an orifice spud connection of 37 drill size. This small part is actually essentialin controlling the flow of natural gas during operation of the burner. The size of the orifice opening in this case is 0.104” diameter which determines the rate of the flowing gases. A correctly sized orifice means that the gas is burnt effectively.
