The Honeywell 311750 8” Neoprene Diaphragm is intended for pneumatic HVAC control systems with MP953A, MP953C, and MP953E actuators. This diaphragm operates as a flexible seal within the actuator to change pneumatic pressure into mechanical movement for the purpose of regulating dampers, valves and other HVAC equipment. When pressure is applied to one side of the diaphragm it bends and in doing so moves a connected rod or linkage. This precise control enables the building environment to have a precise control of the airflow and temperature.
