The Trane MOT9236 is a programmed motor which is used in many HVAC equipment such as furnaces, air handlers and rooftop units. Unlike a standard motor, the MOT9236 has an additional circuit board which allows for speed regulation. This makes it possible to fine tune the airflow and temperature within your HVAC system in a much better way. The motor of the Trane MOT9236 is programmable and this means that the system can change the speed of the fan depending on the requirements of the moment. For example the rate of airflow can be at times high when the motor is new and this will take a shorter time to heat up to the target temperature.
