Trane MOT19026 2 Speed Motor 460V1Ph 1/3HP 1080RPM

The Trane MOT19026 is a two-speed electric motor with the horsepower of 1/3 and is used mostly in the commercial and industrial applications in HVAC systems. It is powered by a 460-volt single phase electrical supply and provides either high speed of 1080 RPM or has a variable slower speed depending on the wiring (the exact speed is 460V/4 = 115V x 10 = 1150 RPM). It also permits variable air delithroughout the hvac system for optimal operations of the cooling or heating system. The motor always operates under the use of electricity to form a rotary magnetic field that is enclosed in the motor casing. This rotating field cuts across the motor’s rotor thus causing it to rotate.
