Trane MOT18664 Motor 200-230V 1/3HP 1100 RPM

The Trane MOT18664 is a motor that is used to replace others in different systems of Trane and American Standard HVAC equipment. It is a single-phase capacitor start induction motor and this type of motor needs an external capacitor to bring it to life and then relies on the magnetic field. Developed for HVAC applications, this type of motor is highly reliable and, at the same time, quite uncomplicated in construction. This works on a voltage of 200-230V and provides an output power of one-third horsepower (1/3 HP). It turns at 1100 rotations per minute (RPM) and is compatible with the normal 60 Hz electrical frequency. It also has a belly mount design, whereby it is fixed at the bottom of the HVAC unit.
