MOT16734
The Trane MOT16734 is a high efficiency ECM intended for commercial and industrial HVAC applications. ECM motors are not like other AC motors; these motors employ permanent magnets and speed controls in order to function at their better. This means that the energy consumption is considerably lower than with standard motors. It has a one phase power supply of 115-230 volts AC and has a horsepower of 1/4 HP. It is also small in size, being only 3.98” tall, thus can be used in various HVAC equipment. These systems are effectively controlled thus enhancing the comfort level, low noise levels and optimal energy consumption. This is essentially housed in a TENV (Totally Enclosed, Non-ventilated) enclosure that allows it to be used in challenging climates and biomechanics and is capable of running on 50/60 Hz frequency.
