The Trane MOT16197 is premium Electronically Commutated Motor to allow effective airflow in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. ECM technology differs from other AC motors in that it uses electronics to regulate motor speed accurately. The motor works on a variable voltage of 115/208-230/177V and can work on both 50Hz and 60 Hz electrical power supply, which is suitable for most electrical power networks. The motor is housed in a sturdy AOM casing and its dimensions are 14.81” length by 7.45” height. It has a 1 horsepower capacity and can be installed to rotate either clockwise or anti-clockwise as the situation demands.
