The Metraflex MSRNN0600 6" Sphere Expansion Joint, 150 PSI, is a flexible piping product that is utilized in HVAC systems to absorb vibration, thermal expansion and misalignment in fluid and air handling lines. It can be used with connections and a maximum pressure and can allow movement in chilled water, hot water, steam, and air ducts without transferring stress to the neighboring equipment. It is mounted between rigid pipe sections adjacent to pumps, boilers, chillers or air handlers and is connected to the piping network.
