Trane MAYHTR1A05BKRB 5kW Heat Strip Kit

The Trane MAYHTR1A05BKRB is a heat strip kit designed for 5 kilowatts of supplemental heat for use in most commercial and industrial applications. The 13.4" x 9.5" x 7.6" measurements aren't revealing of interior components, but the 5 kW capacity is the same as 17,060 BTU of heating output. This Trane air handler compatible electrical heating element kit is made to work perfectly. Heat strips produce heat using electrical resistance then are capable of delivering fast bursts of warmth under peak demand or in colder climates. Often they are secondary heaters that come on when the primary heating system can’t maintain the intended temperature.
