The Manitowoc Ice 000015589 Compressor reduces a low pressure refrigerant vapor and drive its movement through the refrigeration circuit. The liquid returning from the evaporator enters the compressor where the internal mechanism raise its pressure and temperature before sending it toward the condenser. The unit operates on a 230V single-phase, 60Hz electrical supply and connects to the suction and discharge lines along with the equipment controls. Installed within compatible HVAC systems, it works with the evaporator, condenser, expansion components, and control circuit as part of the complete refrigeration cycle.
