Lennox 62K50 Dual Rod Flame Sensor Kit

The Lennox 62K50 Dual Rod Flame Sensor Kit is a safety device in Lennox gas-fired furnaces and boilers. It comprises two metallic rods which are mounted inside the burner assembly. The flame warms the rods and the resulting electrical current is taken to the control board of the furnace. This signal confirms the existence of a stable and secure flame. If the flame is reduced or extinguished, the current decreases and the control board turns off the gas to avoid leakage.
