Lennox 78W82 Heat Exchanger Assembly

The Lennox 78W82 Heat Exchanger Assembly transfers thermal energy from combustion gases to the circulating airstream without allowing the two to mix. It work by absorbing energy in the form of formed metal passages and releasing it into the moving airflow to be distributed. It is installed in furnace compartment, which are usually found in HVAC systems like residential and light commercial heating systems, allowing the exchange of heat. The process serves to keep the output constant, to assist in efficient use of energy, and to keep the performance constant during normal system cycles.
