The Supco SHL514 Plenum Limit Switch is temperature-actuated switching equipment designed to monitor air temperature within a plenum and control an electrical circuit according to defined thermal thresholds. As the sensed temperature increases to 180F, the internal contacts respond by opening the controlled circuit; when the temperature falls to 40F, the switching mechanism closes the circuit again. This automatic change in contact state provides a direct electrical response to changing plenum conditions within HVAC systems. The switch interfaces with the associated control wiring to initiate or interrupt connected functions based on the monitored temperature.
