The Carrier HH18HA525 Limit Switch is an essential safety device for different Carrier HVAC equipment, it is a temperature protection device. When the temperature around the switch rises to a programmed high level of 125°F the switch is programmed to shut off the system. This tends to switch off the electrical power supply to the various end equipment which might lead to overheating or damaging of the equipment. If the temperature goes below a low limit of 20°F the switch can turn off the system to prevent freezing and pipe bursts.
