The Trane SWT3980 is a Limit Switch with L115°F-10°F, a safety device that is meant for use in Trane HVAC systems. This small switch of the dimension of 1.0 x 6.0 x 4.0 inches helps in preventing overheating. It works as a security system, regulating the heat within your system.
