Carrier KSATX0201PUR Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) Kit 1-2.5 Ton R410A

The Carrier KSATX0201PUR is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) kit for Carrier HVAC systems that use R-410A refrigerant and has a capacity range of 1.5-2.5 tons. This copper kit contains a TXV and parts. Because it regulates the amount of refrigerant that passes through the system, the TXV increases the rate of cooling and prevents the flooding of the evaporator coil which results in low cooling ability and is destructive to the system. The included sweat or braze connections inlet Carrier system connection 3/8” female sweat, outlet 5/8” male thread, equalizer 3/8” female thread.
