Trane KIT16544 Butterfly Valve Kit 4"

The Trane KIT16544 is a 4" butterfly valve kit that is critical to regulating fluid flow through Trane HVAC systems. Included in this kit is a butterfly valve, a cap, an O ring, and cap fasteners. The butterfly valve itself simply relies on the pivoting disc in the valve body to control flow. Disc position can be rotated to give complete shutoff, partial flow or fully open flow, as required by the system. This isolation valve kit is normally installed in chilled water or condenser water loops of commercial HVAC systems. This isolates sections of piping system so targeted maintenance or repair will not affect the entire system operation.
