Carrier 340620-706 Kit Thermal Expansion Valve R-410A Aluminum

The Carrier 340620-706 Kit is a thermal expansion valve (TXV) for HVAC systems which operate with R-410A refrigerant. At some point if the temperature goes low the TXV restricts the flow of refrigerant through the evaporator to prevent the evaporator from icing up. On the other hand, it has been realized that when the temperature rises, the TXV opens wider to allow more fluid to flow through it so as to cool more air. Made of bi-metal for durability, the Kit has a capacity of 4 tons and it is small enough to fit with different kinds of HVAC equipment.
