Carrier 220110-029 Ionizing Wire is a modern product intended to increase the effectiveness of air in HVAC systems. This ionizing wire measures 1.25” in length, 0.18” in width, and 0.38” in height, and can easily be incorporated into HVAC equipment. Employing the latest technology in ionization, the wire releases negative ions into the airstream. These ions attach themselves to small particles in the air, including dust, pollen and mold spores making them positively charged. These particles are attracted to grounded surfaces in the HVAC system and, therefore, filtered from the air.
