Trane INS1670 Burner End Cap Insulation

The Trane INS1670 is a burner end cap insulation that is designed to fit the end caps of burners in HVAC equipment, especially furnaces and boilers. It is made of galvanized steel which is a conducive material for high temperatures. The insulation is 11.40” long and has an actual depth of 8.11”. Most importantly, it is heat resistant up to 1600°F. The Trane insulation prevents the heat from escaping from the furnace or boiler by surrounding the burner end cap thus increasing efficiency and performance. This translates to possibly cheaper fuel bills and more efficient heating in the home.
