The Lennox 46K90 is a Draft Inducer Blower Gasket, which is an essential part of the HVAC system. This gasket provides a close fit between the draft inducer blower housing and the flue pipe of the furnace or boiler. The draft inducer blower is a fan that can operate safely and effectively according to the following draft. It develops a zone of low or vacuum at the base of the flue which is effective in drawing out the combustion gases while at the same time creating adequate draught. If there is no efficient seal between the blower and the flue pipe, these dangerous gases may be channeled back into the living space, which is dangerous.
