The Trane KIT16583 Inducer Conversion Kit is the complete kit for upgrading or replacing the draft inducer assembly in Trane furnace that is approximately 14.4” in length. A set of replacement parts uniquely designed to enhance your system’s efficiency in expelling combustion gases safely. Conventional furnaces utilize natural convection for removal of the flue products through the chimney. However, the Trane KIT16583 brings into the equation a powered inducer fan. The kit usually contains a new inducer blower, limit switch, igniter, interface control module and wiring harness.
