Trane KIT16585 Inducer Conversion Kit

The Trane KIT16585 Inducer Conversion Kit is a complete package that is suitable for upgrading or replacing the draft inducer assembly of a Trane furnace, which is approximately 12.25” long. A set of replacement parts designed to enhance the system’s capability to expel combustion gases safely. Conventional furnaces use natural convection for evacuation of fumes through the use of a chimney. However, this comes with a powered inducer fan. The kit normally comprises of a new inducer blower, igniter, limit switch, interface control module, and wiring harness. This improves combustion efficiency by replacing the old system with a powered inducer, safely expels dangerous gases, and may also improve heating performance.
