Trane GKT3081 Induced Draft Blower Assembly Gasket

The Trane GKT3081 is a Gasket Draft Blower developed for use in Trane HVAC systems, to provide optimum efficiency and safety. This gasket is made from high temperature silicone rubber and measures 10.9” x 7.9” x 1.4”. It plays a crucial role of sealing the induced Draft Blower assembly from the rest of the unit. Losses in this zone can be large and lead to a large percentage of conditioned air by-passing the heating or cooling process. Leaks also allow combustion gases such as carbon monoxide to flow to your living space, which is a health risk. It comes in thicknesses of 1/16” to 1/8”, and given the thickness, offers the right compression needed for the seal.
