Nordyne 624702R Defrost Sensor

The Nordyne 624702R Defrost Sensor is a temperature-regulating component in HVAC systems of heat pumps that it uses to detect temperature conditions in the coil outdoors, and control defrost cycles. The suction line or coil tubing of the outdoor unit is fitted with a clip on which the sensor is attached. It does not allow the build-up of ice, recycles through defrosting when needed, provides proper heat transfer, reduces the strain on the system, and offers a stable heat output during cold-weather residential heat pump operation.
