Carrier LH33ZG001 Hot Surface Ignitor

The Carrier LH33ZG001 Hot Surface Ignition is intended for used in HVAC systems such as gas furnaces and boilers. It is an element of the ignition system and the principle function of this system is to begin the combustion process. The hot surface igniters uses a ceramic element which gets hot to a better temperature. When gas is taken to this heated surface, it explodes and starts burning. The advantages over spark ignition include; high reliability, longer durability and relatively low noise levels. It also long lasting and can withstand constant use and abuse in residential and commercial HVAC systems.
