The Rheem-Ruud 62-24305-82 Hot Surface Ignitor (HSI) is especially designed for gas-fired furnaces or boilers made by Rheem, Ruud, and perhaps other brands. When you switch on your heating system, the furnace control board transmits a signal to the hot surface ignitor.
