Carrier 48TJ660003 Heat Exchanger W/Insulation

The Carrier 48TJ660003 is a heat exchanger with insulation to be used in several Carrier HVAC systems. Used to heat exchange between two fluids without allowing them to intermingle. In a furnace, the heat exchanger is designed to transfer heat from the combustion chamber to the air stream to warm home. On the other hand, an air conditioner enables the cooling cycle by the exchange of heat from the inside hot air to the refrigerant. This insulated heat exchanger ensures that most of the heat does not escape during the transfer process and hence increases energy efficiency.
