The Supco 3W1 3-Wire Hard Start Kit is a durable OEM style solution that improves the startup performance of single phase compressors in HVAC systems including reciprocating and scroll compressors. It is a true 3 wire configuration combining a mechanical potential relay and a start capacitor. It has a capacitance range of 88 to 108 MFD and an operating voltage of 208 to 277 VAC, and it is designed for compressors having a rating from 1 to 3 HP. It offers voltage sensing, instant restart, less damage to compressors and quick installation via an EZ snap bracket. The UL recognized kit is more efficient and is suitable for older or high demand systems.
