Resideo FV147 1/8" Maxi Air Vent

The Resideo FV147 Maxivent Air Vent is a modest but essential component of hydronic heating systems. It is composed of sturdy brass and has a 1/8 inch NPT connector for safe installation. Despite the lack of electrical components, the automated air vent improves system performance by removing trapped air and moisture. Air pockets can restrict water movement and diminish heating efficiency. The FV147 automatically releases trapped air using a float mechanism activated by water level. This provides optimum water circulation and system efficiency throughout a wide temperature range of 40°F to 240°F and pressures up to 150 psi.
