The Fulton Boiler 2-20-072000 Ignition Electrode is a spark-generating component, used to get combustion in the burner assembly started in HVAC systems. It is contained in the combustion chamber and connected to the ignition control of the elements, where it produces the electrical discharge required to ignite the mixture of fuel and air. After being energised, it makes the burner light as per the sequence of the controller. Its operation would assist in regulated ignition, timing and liaison with safety circuits, to aid in maintaining a constant and responsive heat system.
