The Littelfuse FLSR125 600V, 125A Time Delay Fuse is aimed at protecting HVAC systems such as chillers, air handling units, rooftops and other equipment against short circuits and overloads. It works by permitting a temporary increase in current without tripping, for shielding from innocuous voltage fluctuations or inrush currents in motor starting. During a more severe condition of overloading or short circuit, the element of the fuse melts to cut off the supply and avoid damage to the equipment. It reduces the chances of tripping by nuisance while at the same time giving adequate protection against electrical faults.
